About Me


  • I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of New Mexico, USA, a student member of IEEE, and a member of the PROTON lab, with Prof. E.E.Tsiropoulou as an advisor. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2016.
  • My major field of research is Computer Systems and Networks, with interests in resource allocation and optimization in heterogeneous wireless networks, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and demand response management in smart grid networks using Game Theory, Contract Theory, and Reinforcement Learning techniques.
  • I have been selected as a member of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) for the 26th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC 2021), to be held on 5-8 September, 2021, in Athens, Greece; I am a recipient of the NSF participation grant to attend the 19th International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom); March 22-26, 2021 in Kassel, Germany, and I have also been appointed as a Workshop Web Chair for REFRESH 2021- 2nd International Workshop on Real-life modeling in 5G networks and beyond, to be held on 7 – 9 June, 2021, in Coral Bay, Pafos, Cyprus.
  • I am also an active member and treasurer of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), volunteering in mentoring and supervising kids (NSBE Jr.) for projects and careers in STEM.
